Plot - A troubled teenager is plagued by visions of a large bunny rabbit that manipulates him to commit a series of crimes, after narrowly escaping a bizarre accident.

Camera work - the film includes a variety of shot most commonly, establishing shot, mid shots, two shots, shot reverse shots, cut ins and cut aways. 

Editing- elliptical editing, short sharp cuts on face paced scenes.

Characters - Main characters include Donnie, Frank and Gretchen who have the main influence on the plot. side characters are used as plot devises.

Costumes - simplistic costumes on majority of cast (excluding frank) including everyday clothing or basic Halloween costumes for majority of film. Franks costume itself is revealed as a Halloween costume of Donnie's sisters boyfriends design. 

Props - franks mask/costume , the philosophy of time travel book, the gun

Set design - donnies bedroom, the gold field, the cellar , the school , the pedos house, the wilderness

Lighting - blue hues
