Opening Titles Research:

Editing:

the editing starts off slow paced with fades to black, then cuts to a faster paced cut aways to various insects, photographs and titles, the editing is fast as to disorientate the viewer and not show them in full what they are viewing, which intrigues them to keep watching. 

Props:

the props used are taxidermy insects, as well as live ones, photographs, sketch book pages/ materials, and what appears to be photo developing equipment. 

Colour scheme: 

the colour scheme is black and white with hues of brown and gold, giving the overall sequence a 'sepia' tone, which makes it look aged.

Fonts:

the fonts are distorted and un-neat, and look as though they have been fractured or handwritten to tie in with the scrapbook feel to the sequence 

Text:

texts included in this sequence are that of the directors/producers and writers names, as well as other significant members of the production team and lead cast members names.
