Mask Final Design Production

After we drew concept art and then finalised the design of our mask, we had to make it. Since there were no masks like the one we wanted in the shops, we had to buy materials and create the design ourselves. Here is the step-by-step making of the mask.
We had to buy 2 separate masks that we would combine in order to make our final mask. This was the first, a clear mask with a black hood. We will use the black hood from this mask.
This is the second mask, a plain white one that we would attach the hood to as well as add the black decorations around the eyes. Both masks were £1, therefore keeping our costs low.
We removed the black hood from the clear mask using scissors, and then re-shaped it in order to fit the white mask.
Then we needed superglue in order to attach the hood to the mask. Superglue was preferable to normal glue as it would hold for longer, meaning our mask would be more durable for the filming process.
Then we added superglue to the top of the mask.
Then we attached the black hood to the superglue, and pressed down to help it stick. Then we left the mask to dry for a few hours in order to make sure it was fully dry and also safe to touch.

Finally, we used a sharpie to draw in the black patterns we decided on during concept art. Then our mask is finished and ready to use.
