Viral Ad Research and idea

Viral ads are the ways that movie companies use to market their films other than using posters or trailers. They can use social networks and the internet to make people more aware of what they are promoting.

this is an explanation of the viral ad that Warner Bros used to get fans more involved with the film, they used a fake newspaper and websites only made for the film to get access to trailers and the first picture of the joker played by Heath Ledger. 

One way that we could viral advertise our film would be to do something linked to the killer dying as they die in the film and it could be an article about a local student who had died mysteriously falling down the stairs, and that if anyone knows anything they need to come forward for example.
