Narrative theories: Claude Levi-Strauss

Levi-Strauss came up with the idea that in films they come up with binary opposites that oppose each other to make the film more interesting for example if there is a hero in a film which there normally is a villain to oppose them, as it creates more action. Some of the main ones are:
Hero-villain
Light-dark
Legal-illegal
Protagonist-antagonist
